UPDATE AUGUST 23, 2008 -- FREEHOLDERS APPROVE BOND
Why the County is bonding over 20 years to pay for items that have a period of usefulness of only 5, 7, and 10 years? Isn't this a bit like refinancing your house to buy a refrigerator?
Why when the voters said no to a question asking for more Farmland Preservation money are the Freeholders now going out and borrowing to spend more instead? This looks like poor planning in the important area of preservation. And what about the will of the Taxpayers?
